The Pledge Manager is LIVE!

Hey folks!

Happy Monday! I am letting you know that the pledge manager has gone live for everyone. We found no additional issues from our smoke test and are working on tidying up the PDFs over the next few days. 

A quick note about the PDFs. It looks like Backerkit's digital download distribution does not go into effect until orders are locked down and the balance is paid. This means PDF download links won't go out until we lock down orders. But, have no fear! We plan to do the first round of locking orders on Friday, so anyone who fills out their surveys between now and then and has the core PDFs on their order will get them on Friday! The core PDFs include Horror RPG Rulebook, The Diner, and Can You See Them? We will lock down orders every Friday until we close the pledge manager in mid-April because orders will start to be fulfilled shortly after that.

As always, we are here to help. If you need anything, reach out to us here or at [email protected]. If you notice any errors in the PDFs, let us know, and we will have it resolved and updated for everyone.

Pledge Managers starts Monday!

Hey folks! 

Bob here with a quick update. After the update this morning we are up to 72% of the smoke test backers completing their survey. We have revised the shipping rates to account for folks who are only getting 1-2 books, which was the only problem we've seen so far. We are going to let the smoke test wrap up over the weekend, which will allow Dave and I time to get home safe from GAMA and for Dave to finish the bookmarking of the core PDFs. It may also show anything else we missed from the smoke test so far, but everything else is running smoothly thusfar.  

On Monday, I will have the PDFs uploaded to the digital downloads and then....the pledge manager will go live for EVERYONE! If you need anything from us, you can reach us here in the Community section or ping Aubrey at [email protected]. 

We are just as excited as you all for this project, and we talked to a TON of retail stores at GAMA that also showed interest...especially with Abigail watching over the booth all week. If you don't wish to lay your eyes on Abigail...skip the Backer only content. You've been warned, I can still feel her.....watching.

Hey all!

We're wrapping up GAMA here. The smoke test has gone pretty well, but we've only had about 58% of people answered so far, which seems relatively low.

We're going to check with Backerkit to see what's up, and likely, we're going to have to reduce the price for shipping domestic a little to account for folks who just got one book, keeping in mind that we're going to be wrapping this up pretty good and tossing in a few extra goodies. Either way, BK doesn't have a way to differentiate between media mail and UPS.

TL;DR: Pledge Manager is coming, we just want to ensure we don't overcharge you or there are any issues.

Either way, here's our expected fulfillment schedule. Remember, these are all estimates, and things like mistakes in printing or proofs can slow things down. We'll try to update things as they come to us.

Week of Monday, June 3rd

  • Xanthophobia fulfillment begins

Pledge Manager smoke test begins today. Full Pledge Manager by Friday.

Hey all!

Just letting you know that we've submitted the Pledge Manager and got approved. Bob's launching the smoke test now, so about 5% of you will receive it today. Once it looks like everything is hunky dory, we'll send it out to everyone.

I'll be adding bookmarks and covers to the current PDFs, but those should be out either by Friday or Saturday, just depending on how busy I get at GAMA Expo.

I'll also drop a timeline in an update on when we roughly expect certain physical items to ship. Most of it's printing right now, and it's all being done on the local level, so it should be relatively fast. Only some of the add-ons may take a little longer, particularly Xanthophobia.

Hey friends!

I see some of y’all getting antsy! No worries, all. Pledge Manager took a couple extra days to get worked on due to a flub with proving to stripe that yes, the bank account used for 9 years is mine. 😂

I thought Bob had posted an update, so that’s my bad. Everything is loaded into the system and ready to go. We just have to get the green light from BK. 

Either way, I’m hoping for Monday or Tuesday. PDFs are done and ready to drop. And most of the products are ordered and printing.
